Simple tips and compact information about fitness, nutrition and mindset
I am Jenny Bayer, certified Personal Trainer and Functional Fitness Coach.
On this blog I would like to support you on your personal fitness journey with easy-to-implement tips and short information.
Because a fitness journey can sometimes be quite strenuous– not only physically!
So, if you are looking for short articles on sports, nutrition and motivational topics, then you've come to the right place!
We all start off small
We've all been at the point of doing something for the first time more than once in our lifes. Remember when you were a kid and you learned something new almost every day? First time riding a bike, first swimming lesson, reading, writing... the list is endless.
Over the years, we forget to be curious about new and unknown things. We forget how exciting the feeling of trying something for the very first time is. And for a variety of reasons, we sometimes even develop a fear of it.
And you can often see this fear quite clearly before your first visit to the gym (or yoga, pole dancing, karate or any other studio that you are entering for the first time). The fear of embarrassing yourself, of doing the exercises wrong or of feeling out of place.
What's my point?
That it is perfectly fine NOT to know everthing when we do things for the first time. No one expects you to do the perfect deadlift the first time you see a barbell up close. And no one expects you to even know what a deadlift or a barbell is.
There are people who have spent a long time working intensively on these topics and will be happy to show you where and how to get started.
The only thing YOU have to do: take the first step!
And maybe you're not just thinking about how exciting the feeling of your very first attempt can be. But also how exciting it is to record your very first successes.
Have fun with my fitness blog
I look forward to accompanying you on your fitness journey in an entertaining way with new knowledge and helpful tips!
Enjoy and see you soon
Jenny
P.S.: This fitness blog is also a "first time" for me and I'm excited and curious to see how it will turn out! 😉
